Invest your way.
NEST provides flexibility with a variety of quality Investment Options, so you can be as hands-on or as hands-off as you’d like when managing your account.
Choose the right course for you.
NEST offers three categories of Investment Options: Age-Based, Static, and Individual Fund Investment Options. Many investors prefer the ease of the professionally managed Age-Based Options that automatically adjust as the beneficiary gets closer to college age. Investors wanting a more hands-on approach might favor the Static and Individual Fund Investment Options. Customize your account to your own investing style, whether its conservative, moderate, or aggressive.
If you would like to invest in more than one Age-Based Investment Option or in an Age-Based Investment Option and Static/Individual Fund Investment Options, your financial advisor may need to establish additional accounts for you. All accounts with the same account owner and Beneficiary can be accessed with one set of login credentials on the Plan’s website and will receive combined account statements.
Age-Based Investment Options
Investing simplified. Age-Based Options make saving simple. Pick from three options based on your risk tolerance – conservative, moderate, or aggressive. Then our expert investment managers will select underlying funds and the mix of asset classes. As the beneficiary gets older, the portfolio will shift to become more conservative.Learn More about age-based investment options
Static Investment Options
Investment that stays the course. Static Options offer a fixed allocation to underlying investments through your account’s duration. Choose between All Equity, Growth, Balanced, Conservative, or Bank Savings Static Investment Options.Learn More about static investment options
Individual Fund Investment Options
Build your own portfolio. NEST offers 19 Individual Fund Investment Options from well-respected investment companies.Learn More about individual fund investment options
These investments are actively and passively managed and cover a range of asset classes (including domestic equity, real estate, international equity, and fixed income) from companies like Vanguard, State Street, DFA, and T. Rowe Price.
Account owners do not own shares of the underlying investments, but rather own an interest in the Individual Fund Investment Option offered by the NEST Advisor Plan.
The performance of each Individual Fund Investment Option may be more volatile than Age-Based or Static Investment Options.
