Picture their future, celebrate big dreams, and potentially win $529.

They say the first step to accomplishing your dreams is to visualize them. In the same spirit, we’re giving your loved ones a chance to do just that. The “Look to the Future” Art Challenge is all about celebrating the potential of your child’s future. Nebraska students from 5–10 years old, as of October 1, 2024, can participate — here’s how it works:

STEP ONE: Have your loved one draw a picture of what they want to be when they grow up.

Using an 8.5” x 11” piece of paper, your child can use anything from crayons to colored pencils to draw a picture of their big dreams for the future.

STEP TWO: Mail in a copy of your loved one’s finished artwork by November 10, 2024.

For quality purposes, we recommend using a manila envelope. But if you only have standard-size envelopes, carefully fold your loved one’s artwork before sending it in, along with the completed entry form. You can mail it to:

STEP THREE: Wait for the winners to be announced!

Up to three winners (drawn at random) will receive a $529 contribution to a NEST 529 account. Stay tuned in December for the official announcement about our winning entries.

You must complete all required fields on the entry form. You must be 19 years of age or older and be a legal resident of the state of Nebraska at the time of entry. You may submit one entry per intended beneficiary. Beneficiary must be a resident of the state of Nebraska and between the ages of 5 and 10. Up to 3 prize winners will be selected on or before December 15, 2024. You need not be present to win. Each prize winner will receive $529 in the form of a contribution to a NEST 529 College Savings Plan account established by the Sponsor for the benefit of the beneficiary. Total prize value of all prizes to be awarded is approximately $1,587. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
